Bro. Ralph E Thompson is a native of Franklin, TN.  He received Associate Degrees in Business and Fashion Merchandising from Draughons College.  His love for God and zeal for the gospel led himto the Nashville School of Preaching where he is a two time graduate and current Instructor. Brother Thompson has now been preaching the gospel for 30 years. Currently, he serves as an Elder and Senior Pulpit Minister for the Church of Christ at Green Meadow in Shelbyville, TN. Brother Thompson is a strong advocate for young ministers in the gospel and continues to serve as a mentor. He started a preacher’s training class at Green Meadow and has had over 15 men to complete the training many of whom now minister their own congregations.

Bro. Thompson has served on numerous lectureships, seminars, workshops, and marriage retreats. He has been recognized for his leadership and community service through numerous awards, plaques, and certificates over the years. He stated, “The noblest deeds are those free of selfish gain with the ultimate goal of recognizing the needs of others and actively providing assistance. I believe that my success and happiness as a servant of God and mankind is a direct result of the nurturing that I received over the years from my parents, spouse, children, mentors, colleagues, and friends. Brother Thompson is married to Sister Machelle Thompson; and, they celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary this past May. They have two adult children, LaToya (deceased) and Quinton, daughter in-love, Brittany, and son in-love, Junior. The joys of their lives are grandchildren, Nadia, Javon, Kennedi, Amiyah, Kya, Nariah and great-grandson, Kendall. Brother Thompson enjoys all sports with golf being his most recent attraction. He is the owner of Thompson’s Lawn Care & Landscaping Design, LLC.
